Where In The World Can I Find PRO Compression In July?

Posted by on

Every month, we keep a full travel schedule attending race expos around the globe (well, okay...mostly in the USA). Attending these events gives us a great opportunity to meet our awesome customers, see old friends and make some new ones along the way.

During the month of July, you can find us at one of the following races and we’ve also included some fun facts about the host cities!

July 20- 21: Rock ‘n Roll Chicago

Rock ‘n Roll Chicago race expo will be open Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21, held at McCormick Place, North Building, Hall C1.

The race features a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon, giving a distance option for every family member to run through the Windy City.

Fun Facts about Chicago:

The Chicago River is the only river that flows backwards. The reversal technique was created for sanitation reasons to divert sewage away from the Lake Michigan water supply!

Spray paint was invented in Chicago by Ed Seymour

July 27-28: The San Francisco Marathon

The San Francisco Marathon race expo will be open Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28. The Expo and packet pick-up will be held at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason.

This will be the 41st year the San Francisco Marathon. Participants have the option of running a full marathon, a relay half marathon, a 5K, or an ultra-marathon

Fun Facts about San Francisco:

San Francisco was originally named Yerba Buena, which means “Good Herb” in Spanish. It was renamed in 1846.

The color of the Golden Gate Bridge is called International Orange. Designers originally selected a different color, but this color happens to be the color of the steel primer used to protect the raw components and structure during transit and construction. The architect liked the color and decided to keep it. Can you imagine the Golden Gate Bridge any other color?

We can't wait to join the fun in these great cities and hope to see you there!
